Colour, pattern and texture are the dominant elements of Lucy Davies' mixed media paintings.
“I come to Cornwall to paint and draw as much as possible and can be found in or around my little caravan on the cliffs, painting the beautiful and sometimes wild coastal scenery which I am very passionate about. I also do a lot of walking and take my camera and sketchbook wherever I go, so I’ve always got plenty of inspiration in the cold winter months when I’m tucked away in my studio at home.” Lucy Davies originally trained at St Martins and Brighton and has a BA (hons) in Illustration.
