Max Wildman skilfully creates homage paintings which are interpretations of Alfred Wallis's naive aesthetic. His attention to detail ensures authenticity, both technically and emotionally, creating artworks which feel genuine and not derivative. 

These works are not imitations, Wildman has immersed himself in Wallis methods, studying his life, materials and methods, even utilising the same paints and cardboard that Wallis favoured.
