Turned in English Oak, this beautiful bowl has been finished by using blowtorches to char the timber’s outer surface, allowing the sharp rim to burn and smoulder. This creates an uneven, organic finish.  Knots and fissures enhance the natural character and texture of the piece.  A beautiful bowl with a comfortable contrast between the natural and charred wood.
